Feral Druid
Mirrors the current rank-1 Sinister Single parse — every slot is what the best Feral Druid actually wears.

How it plays
- You press Shred more than anything else — about 19 times a minute — but the damage lands on Rip, which is 19% of the total.
- Damage is spread thin: the top three abilities are only 42% of it, so the spec rewards keeping everything rolling rather than protecting one button.
Measured on the reference parse below, not a description of the spec — so it changes when the tuning does.
Stat priority
Mastery > Haste > Critical Strike > Versatility
These are not weights pulled from a spreadsheet — they are the live ratings on the reference character this build is taken from, so the order reflects what the best-performing Feral Druid is actually stacking right now.

Talent build
Laid out exactly as the in-game talent UI draws it, hero tree Wildstalker. Lit nodes and gold lines are the path this build takes; everything dimmed was passed over. Hover any node for what it does.

Rotation
Spend at five combo points.
Rip first if it needs refreshing,
Ferocious Bite otherwise — and both want
Tiger's Fury up when they land.
Keep these up
Rake with
Tiger's Fury up, so the copy on the target is the strong one. Refreshing a snapshotted bleed with a weaker one is worse than letting it run.
Rip at five combo points when it is refreshable, and again under
Tiger's Fury.
Builders
Shred is the builder.- Moonfire when it needs refreshing, on the same snapshot rule as
Rake. - Open from
Prowl with
Rake whenever you get the chance — that copy is worth roughly double.
Finishers
Rip when refreshable,
Ferocious Bite for everything else.
Ferocious Bite immediately on an Apex Predator's Craving proc, at any combo points — it is free.
Cooldowns
Tiger's Fury on cooldown, and always before
Berserk — it is a damage multiplier the rest of the window sits inside.
Berserk or Incarnation with
Tiger's Fury already up.
Feral Frenzy at low combo points so none of what it gives is wasted.
Convoke the Spirits inside the window.
Keep these up
Rake on as many targets as you can hold, still under
Tiger's Fury.
Primal Wrath at five combo points to put
Rip on everything at once.
Builders
- Swipe above two targets;
Shred on exactly two if you took Pantheon. - Moonfire to spread.
Finishers
Primal Wrath at five, then
Ferocious Bite once the bleeds are out.
Ferocious Bite on Ravage rather than
Primal Wrath — it is the bigger hit.
Cooldowns
- Unchanged.
Tiger's Fury still leads and
Berserk still follows it.
- Feral is a snapshot spec. A bleed applied without
Tiger's Fury is a bleed you will want to overwrite, and overwriting costs a global you did not need to spend.
Openers
Single target
Rake from
Prowl.
Tiger's Fury, then build to five.
Rip, then
Berserk.
Feral Frenzy at low combo points, then
Convoke the Spirits.
Shred and
Ferocious Bite for the rest of the window.
Where the damage comes from
Measured on the reference log — a 300-second single-target parse. Worth comparing against the rotation above: the button you press most is rarely the one doing the most.

Best in slot
The finished loadout, built by Pathfinder — the strongest item available for every slot, with the item level to chase and where it drops. 334 average item level across 15 slots, gathered from 3 places.
Where to spend bonus rolls as Feral Druid
A Voidcore pays out an item every time — the question is only whether it is one you wanted. For this build, in order:
Roll The Twin Fangs — 2 of its 3 drops are on your list
67% of every roll here lands something on the list. In The Venomous Abyss, it owes you neck and feet.
Then Nymrissa Wavecaller — 1 of its 3 drops is on your list
33% of every roll here lands something on the list. In The Tidebound Grotto, it owes you ring 2.
Then Sszorak — 1 of its 3 drops is on your list
33% of every roll here lands something on the list. In The Venomous Abyss, it owes you legs.
The general principles behind this — knockout protection, why finishing one boss beats spreading rolls, and the crests a roll quietly costs you — are in the bonus roll guide.
Week-by-week route
- Pre-season: the campaign, a world tour of Mythic 0s for a 292 loadout, and the weekly Spark quest. No Myth crests exist yet — bank the Spark.
- Week 1: farm +10 keys to a full Hero 3/6 (311) loadout and fill the vault. The first Myth crests arrive, so spend the banked Spark on Adherent's Silken Shroud. Every Hero crest goes into lifting pieces toward 6/6 (321).
- Week 2: first Voidcore — roll The Twin Fangs, where 2 of 3 drops are on this list. Catalyse the set slots for the 4-set. Second Spark goes to Hexwoven Strand.
- Weeks 3–6: one Voidcore a week down the order above — finish a boss before starting the next. Keep spending Hero crests; every slot should sit at 321 by about Week 6.
- Week 7 onward: two Voidcores a week (the vault and Orin Straylight). Roll Myth-track bases in the set slots, re-catalyse them, and take each to 6/6 for 80 Myth and 20 Hero crests.
- Late season: Zul'jin's Guillotine Technique comes from the last two bosses at Myth 9 (344). Secure the base item early — that is the only place the extra three ranks exist.
The fast variant
Same stat priority, 5 slots moved. Pathfinder builds the list above for raw power and does not care how many bosses that takes; Slate prices the route as well, and takes an equal-strength item from a boss you are already farming over one that sends you somewhere new. It visits 3 places against the strongest list's 3, at the same average item level.
- Back — Silken Voodoo Drape instead of Adherent's Silken Shroud
- Wrist — Aetherlume Bands instead of Restless Spirit Shackles
- Waist — Unpossessed Skullsash instead of Hexwoven Strand
- Feet — World Tree Rootwraps instead of Bespittled Slitherslippers
- Ring 1 — Apex Brute's Claw Ring instead of Vile Alchemist's Band
