Galvazzt
Temple of Sethraliss · boss 3 of 4
With the corruption of her temple, Sethraliss' command of lightning has created twisted elementals that roam the sunken chambers. Formed by this aberrant energy, Galvazzt seeks to grow in power by any means.
Stand in the line between him and his spires. It hurts, and it is the entire fight — every charge he completes makes him permanently stronger.
An interception fight with a ratchet in it. The Lightning Spires feed Galvazzt energy, and a player standing between a spire and him blocks the connection at the cost of being Galvanized. Reaching 100 energy fires Consume Charge and grants Capacitance, which raises his damage for the rest of the fight and never falls off.
What actually kills you
Everything else is noise until these three are handled.
- Letting a charge complete. Consume Charge is damage on everyone plus a cut to your damage done, and the Capacitance stack behind it is permanent.
- One person blocking everything. Galvanized is significant damage and it raises Physical damage taken — it is meant to be rotated.
- Standing where a spire forms. They arrive at targeted locations and knock away anyone caught in the spawn.
Your job
If you tank
- Galvanized raises your Physical damage taken, so blocking while tanking is the expensive combination. Take your turns between his big swings.
- Induction Field is left where he pulses. Keep him out of his own fields so the blockers have clean lines to stand in.
If you heal
- The blocking is deliberate, sustained damage on whoever is doing it. Budget for a player taking it continuously rather than for spikes.
- He passively bleeds energy, so a good block does not just delay Consume Charge — it can prevent it entirely.
If you DPS
- Get in the line early. Energy is easier to deny than to out-damage.
- Rotate who blocks. On Mythic there are several spires at once and no one player can cover them.
How the fight goes
| Part | What to do |
|---|---|
| Step 1 | Lightning Spires form at targeted locations and begin feeding him energy. |
| Step 2 | Players stand between spire and boss to break the connection, taking Galvanized for it. |
| Step 3 | Any charge that completes is Consume Charge on the group and a permanent stack of Capacitance for him. |

Worth a bonus roll?
You cannot roll this boss on its own. A dungeon roll is against the whole instance, so this table is one part of a pool that includes every other boss in Temple of Sethraliss — the bonus roll guide explains what that changes, and the planner works it out per spec.
