Atroxus
Voidscar Arena · boss 2 of 3
Imprisoned by Charonus, this starving behemoth is hoping for a new victim to sate his appetite. Atroxus's sheer size is almost as dangerous as the poison he spews.
Every roar adds another Creeper, and every Creeper makes Nature damage hurt more. Kite them, kill them, and stay out of the cone.
A snowballing fight. Monstrous Roar is armour-ignoring damage on the group and it drags a Toxic Creeper out of the nearest poison pool; the Creeper fixates someone, stacks Nature vulnerability on them with every bite, and drags a damaging aura around with it.
What actually kills you
Everything else is noise until these three are handled.
- Letting the Creepers accumulate. Each one fixates a player and its Toxic Aura damages anyone near it — three of them alive turns the arena into floor you cannot use.
- Sickening Bite on the tank. It stacks increased Nature damage taken, and Hulking Claw is Nature.
- Standing in the pools. Poison Splash paints the floor and Mind-Numbing Poison cuts your haste, which is the quiet reason the pull runs long.
Your job
If you tank
- Sickening Bite is the number to watch. Once the stacks are up, Hulking Claw hits for far more than it did at the start — that is your cooldown trigger, not the health bar.
- Noxious Breath is a frontal. Face him away and keep him off the pools so the melee have somewhere to stand.
If you heal
- Monstrous Roar ignores armour and hits everyone, and it is the same cast that spawns the next Creeper. Two problems, one timer.
- Hulking Claw leaves a Nature bleed on the tank on top of the hit. Read it as a two-part cast.
If you DPS
- Kill the Creepers. They fixate, so whoever is being chased kites while everyone else burns it.
- Kite away from the poison pools, not through them. Mind-Numbing Poison cuts your haste and it is entirely avoidable.
How the fight goes
| Part | What to do |
|---|---|
| Step 1 | Poison Splash covers the ground; Noxious Breath is a cone from his face. |
| Step 2 | Monstrous Roar: armour-ignoring damage on everybody, and a Toxic Creeper crawls out of a pool. |
| Step 3 | The Creeper fixates and bites. Kite it, kill it, and do it again at the next roar. |

Worth a bonus roll?
You cannot roll this boss on its own. A dungeon roll is against the whole instance, so this table is one part of a pool that includes every other boss in Voidscar Arena — the bonus roll guide explains what that changes, and the planner works it out per spec.
