Nalorakk
Den of Nalorakk · boss 3 of 3
Slumbering in his fitful and battle-filled dream, Nalorakk, the Loa of War, will only test the mettle of the worthy. Survive his trial and receive his blessing or die trying.
Zul'jarra is fighting alongside you and she is the target of everything. Stand behind her for the Onslaught, and in front of her for everything else.
A protection fight with one rule that flips. Overwhelming Onslaught is survived by hiding behind Zul'jarra's Defensive Stance; Forceful Slam and the charging Echoes have to be intercepted with your own bodies, because anything that reaches her makes her scream and the scream stacks damage taken on the whole group.
What actually kills you
Everything else is noise until these three are handled.
- Dodging Forceful Slam. If nobody is caught in it, Zul'jarra takes the full hit and Demoralizing Scream goes out — armour-ignoring damage on everybody plus a stacking damage-taken increase that never comes off.
- Letting an Echo through. During Fury of the War God she is stunned by Concussive Shock and defenceless; each Echo that arrives is another scream.
- Standing in the open during Overwhelming Onslaught. Behind her it is heavily reduced. In front of her it is not reduced at all.
Your job
If you tank
- Know which way she is facing. Her barrier only protects players behind her, so where you have parked Nalorakk decides whether the group has cover.
- Echoing Maul comes from Nalorakk and from every Echo at once. Two Echoes alive means three Mauls in the same instant.
If you heal
- Overwhelming Onslaught is significant even through the barrier. Reduced is not free.
- The stacking part of Demoralizing Scream is the real problem — every one you let happen makes the next ten seconds worse. Treat a missed intercept as a healing cooldown.
If you DPS
- Get in the way. Both of the big mechanics are intercepts, and being hit by Echoing Fury is the correct outcome.
- Echoes stay for one more Fury of the War God before vanishing, so the second cast has more of them to block than the first.
- Forceful Roar pushes everyone away. Expect to be out of position immediately after it and plan the run back.

Worth a bonus roll?
You cannot roll this boss on its own. A dungeon roll is against the whole instance, so this table is one part of a pool that includes every other boss in Den of Nalorakk — the bonus roll guide explains what that changes, and the planner works it out per spec.
